GRILLED MASALA PANEER

A mouth watering delicious starter

Process:

  • Add the Paneer cubes in boiling salted water.
  • Take out the paneer pieces after 5 minutes and put them aside on tissue paper for removal of moisture.
  • Prepare hung curd, atleast 2 hours before using it.
  • Take a small kadai and pour 4-6 tablespoons (in proportion with the amount of besan to be taken) of mustard oil.

  • Proportionately add Besan and bhuna till it becomes light brown and becomes a thick paste.

  • Add kashmiri red chilly powder to the besan paste and mix well .
  • Make a thick paste with hung curd, fresh cream ,roasted cumin  powder,  green chilly paste(optional),1 small  teaspoon chili powder, coriander powder haldi powder, ginger- garlic paste ,salt as per taste, freshly crushed black pepper, chat masala,crushed kasuri methi ,and little of garam Masada.

  • Add the the mixture with bhuna besan . Add 4-5  table spoon of lemon juice and mix all the ingredients properly to make a smooth paste.

Marinate the paneer cubes in the paste in such a way that all the cubes are covered with the paste . Refrigerate it for 1 hour . 

Take a  cast iron grill tava , or non stick grill tava on gas oven .  When the tawa is hot, drizzle some oil on to it .

  • With the help of tongs  put the paneer on the hot pan and on medium flame till the side is grilled . 
  • Brush some oil / butter on to the other side.
  • Turn quickly on the other side and keep it for 1 more minute in low flame.

Tawa grilled paneer masala is ready . Serve with  onion salad seasoned with lime juice and rock salt.
